Today, at robotics Dylan,Dean and I went and made a buggy using a green lego kit. We started off by experimenting with the pieces, testing the friction and the graviational pull of each one. After a lot of testing and timing, we decided to use two huge wheels, two large gears and a regular wheel. We used the two large gears to substitute wheels because the spikes pulled on the carpet floor making it run like the wind. When we came to the linen area, the huge wheels' frictional force made it easier to push.

Interesting
We made a buggy using lego that went slightly on an angle but we still came 2nd in our race. The other two cars behind us in the race broke apart halfway through the course and we came after Tim and Thomas's car which was super fast but drove on a huge angle as well.
Our car fell apart quite a few times and we had trouble repairing it sometimes. I am the inventor and I am mainly good with ideas and NOT engineering. I relied on Dylan for most of that.
What I found interesting was that one pieces had to be connected to specific pieces in order to be stable. I found this quite annoying because It was unbalanced and hard to control.
